The technology of microarc oxidation valve metals is one the promising methods for engineering working surface friction units modern technology. As a result versatility technology, it possible to obtain composite ceramic coatings and materials various types. Their properties are set by electrical modes material formation, chemical composition electrolyte, further modification matrix with micro- nanosized tribofillers. Based on practical results their research in field creating types oxidation, an analysis given main areas application microplasma electrolytic advantages over other modification, structure obtained.
